IS SUNDAY LEGISLATION REALLY THE SOLUTION?
The European Sunday Alliance have identified three key areas as reasons to have legislation for a 'Work Free Sunday': 1. health & safety at work 2. time for family and 3. better social cohesion.
The following aricle recognizes all of these points to be of great value to individuals and society at large, however this does not change the fact that to legislate Sunday as an official day of rest would still remain unlawful. Click the following link to read the full article.

Sunday, 04 November 2012 21:58These are end time issues, this Sunday legislation is not some future event, but the here and now. Members of the Seventh Day Adventist church need to tap into these resources to inform themselves of current events that is taking place; else they will be caught off guard when events take place. Ideologically, they are saying in this globalization that countries will be the same, but how can this be? Countries have their own sovereignty and as a result, their different ways of doing things; thus what works for one country may not work for the other. I agree with the author of this article that this legislation is unlawful, and the rationale given for legislating sunday as work-free and a day of rest bear-out no co-relation what so-ever. There is no biblical stance to the facts. This article provides insights into the importance of recognising that the sabbath truths need be told as it is written the bible. It is evident that our world is facing challenging times, and as Seventh Day Adventist christians, we're facing various challenges when it comes to proclaiming the gospel truths. But the 'Rulers' in charges needs to be told, and as Gods' ambassadors, Seventh Day Adventist needs to be in the corridors of time being witnesses to the facts. Gods' ten commandments ( the written law) is binding, it reign supreme, He created the seventh day as the sabbath, He blessed it, He sanctify it and made it holy. Most of all He never change it. And these are the facts.
